yeah nah… so, look… I started the NBA Straya Podcast on a whim, and have basically been flying by the seat of my pants ever since… The cool bit is that 330-odd episodes& appearances from Matthew Dellavedova, Leigh Ellis, Mitch Creek, Andrew Bogut, Ryan Broekhoff & more later — I mean, just check it all out on the site! — it’s turned into something I never could have imagined: a fully sick bunch of dead-set ledges who dig basketball & having a laugh 🤙
SO.
a) I wanna keep doing it, and daily, so we’re doing T-shirts & stuff to help fund this season…
b) Going into the 3rd season of doing NBA Straya, I plan to launch more video content, expanding on the usual daily podcast with a video version of YEAH/NAH… & eventually utilising video for the daily skits (‘Delly’s Review’ is gonna be off the chain)… and anyone who’s watched the NBA Straya live videos in the past will attest that this will be at least interesting…
c) I have to speed up my production process — as regular listeners would know, old mate is now back at work and we’ve got the little squid in tow. At the moment I’m still using the basic set-up from the day I launched the show in 2017, which is a pain in the Lemanis… SO… the plan is to get a better mixer & speed everything up (and ideally get a portable one for better interviews out & about), to keep this bad-boy daily & knock out another 150-odd episodes 😬
So… pledge to buy a stubby holder…
or a T-shirt…
or a hoodie…
or even a bloody cornhole set…
…then that would mean I can keep doing this for another season (and justify to old mate why I spend all my time watching basketball)
