#NBA #Straya Never Forget!

As his Utah Jazz prepare to go up against the OKC Flogs tonight, ONE YEAR AGO TODAY was the NBA playoff debut for…. the one…. the only… Kangaroo Kobe! (That’s Dante Exum for those in the cheap seats)

That’s right, 12 months ago Son of Cecil was tearing up the L.A. Clippers and leading the Jazz to a crucial Game 4 win, playing almost the PERFECT GAME just like he was back on the Tarneit Thomas Carr College blacktops!

The Seabrook Sensation hit the lone shot he took: a three that was so beautiful Blake Griffin briefly considered taking it on a date to see his mildly funny stand up.

In his 11 minutes, the man with more playmaking ability than David Williamson also added an assist so impressive that the scorers went rogue and officially listed it as ‘an absolute bloody pearler’.

Sure, 3 points and 1 assist in 11 minutes might not seem like much, but Dante provided the poise — along with a huge serving of Aussie grit, determination and stones bigger than Uluru — to shut down the NBA’s premier whinger, Chris Paul, and lead the Jazz to tie up the series 2-2. That’s what happens you play a ledge who’s faster than Matt Shirvington and corrals more hard-ball gets than Patty Dangerfield!

Reckon his old man — NBL legend Cecil Exum — must’ve been prouder than bloody punch to see his boy out there shredding like Cecil used to for the Geelong Supercats!

#ONYA Son of Cecil!
